Brothers and sisters, I want you to all close your eyes and imagine that when the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه walked into Madinatul Munawwara, that you were the third person walking with the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه, and that you were the recipient of all the people of Madinah who came out in praise of the Prophet ﷺ and to greet him they sang this nasheed, طلع البتل علينا. Close your eyes and imagine.
طلع البتل علينا من ثنيات الوداع وجب الشكر علينا ما دعا لله داع ما دعا لله داع
All the white moon rose over us from the valley of Wada' and we owe it to show thankfulness where the call is to Allah
أيها المبعوث فينا جئت بالأمر المطاع جئت شرفت المدينة مرحبا يا خير داع مرحبا يا خير داع
O you who were raised among us, coming with words to be obeyed, you have brought to this city nobleness, welcome all, call unto God's way
