Lyrics
I've been waiting for this day As the months went by I prayed You come and go like the rain Long as when you're here again You hear me hope And your mercy is what I want Bestowed to you from my Lord Ain't nothing gives me a purpose Chances meaning Why would you believe? And call me the Lord The merciful The month of fasting The month of fasting We live in it, we visit it Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan See the moon's excited too As intentions are renewed Other months we stumble through In this month we start anew You hear me hope And your mercy is what I want Bestowed to you from my Lord Ain't nothing gives me a purpose Chances meaning Why would you believe? And call me the Lord The merciful The month of fasting The month of fasting We live in it, we visit it Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan, Ramadan
