اطلع الدهر هلالك، البسر حا جلالك، طوف في الأرض وجالا، في الليل قد دلالا، طال يا بدر البعاد، طال بالنوم السهاد، مال القلب السواد، واشتياق النفس طا مرحبا يا شهر بشرى، جئت بعد العسر يسرى، قد أحلت الكون بشرا، بك قد فافا جمالا رمضان الحب والفاة، وفي أرض الشام طافة، واستقى من الشباب، بهدى الحق تعالى شهر ذكر وصيام، ودعاء وقيام، شهر بذل من كرام، يجعل الأزرار زبانا صومكم لي وأنا من يجزي بالأجر دواما، فانوين الله صياما، هكذا الرحمن قال
