أخفي الهوى ومدامعي تبديه وأميته وصبابتي تحييه ومهذّب حلو الشمائل أهيف قد جمعت كل المحاسن فيه فلأنه في الحسن صورة يوسف ولأنني في الحزن مثل أبيه فلأنه في الحسن صورة يوسف ولأنني في الحزن مثل أبيه يا محرقا بالنار وجن محبه مهلا فإن مدامعي تطفيه أحرق بها جسدي وكل جوارحي واشفك على قلبي لأنك فيه إن أنكر العشاق فيك صبابتي فأنا الهوى.
