يا رجائي رباه عفوك إني للنور مدت يدايا نزعت أسرر قلبي وجئت ألقي أسايا وأشتكي طي صدري دربا سحيق العطايا به بدأت ولكن لم أدري ما متهايا لم أدري يأسي فيه ولا عرفت هدايا ولا عرفت ظلامي ولا عرفت ضحايا ولا لغيرك دوى يا رب يوم الندايا يا رجائي إليك أنت صباحي مصفد بمساحة فاسكب ضياءك إني ضمعان ضل صدايا لم أدري من أين بقى أسقي جنينا ركايا وشط لا ما فيه يطفي اللظى في حجايا رحماك يا رب إني وزرقي الخطايا في لجة ليس فيها من الضياء بقايا جفت وغاضت ولكن ما زلت ألجي رجايا يا رجائي
