Lyrics

I see me losing everything. I know I'm losing everything. Angels on my shoulders turned to stone by the evil they see. Man, Shaytan, he's been my enemy. Always coming after me. See, I know the trials in my life will lead me to discovery. I found my heart inside the scripture. Now the Quran is my soul's melody. And when the angel comes for me, I pray I've left the legacy of children who can understand their faith without society lying to their face and facing them with animosity. A wife that knew I did my best protecting all my family. I sense I'm losing everything because desire wants my everything. I know once death touches me, the dunya, I'll lose everything. See, my heart hasn't always been with God. So here's some honesty. All I crave now is As-Siratul Mustaqim. So tell me, what's a king to Allah? What's deen if your belief isn't truly in your heart? The dream? Jannah bound, praying side by side with Rasulullah. What's the point of life if you up and leave Allah? See, I've been in the masjid, knees planted firm, afraid of the flames of the fire it would burn. The deeds I am chasing are the dreams that I will earn. Death is everywhere and soon enough it'll be our turn. So before you're in a hearse, before you're in the dirt, learn about your faith, then you'll learn about your worth. See, Satan, he was cursed before Adam took the fruit. He inspired to grow deep within me and you. Confusing your identities, man, you must be losing you. So you force yourself to gain and swear that money is your truth. But when you die, you realize all that money you will lose. Any fame that you obtained ends up becoming so minute. See, you can see, even still, you let it blind you. Do you see? I see me losing everything. I see me losing everything. The grave is calling me and I pick up without the words to say. Regret is on my mind from the times I didn't pray. I could have prayed and saved my soul, but sadly I was in a chase. Caught up in this life, this delusional race. See, I've been digging my own grave from the moment of my birth. God gave me a shovel to define my time in the dirt. I swear I'm losing everything. I swear I'm losing everything. Lowered in my grave, I swear I'll lose everything. I swear I'll lose everything.
