O Allah, I have fallen into depths of true despair
In the darkness I am calling, I know you hear me through my tears
I've no strength, my body is gone, though it's hard I still go on
All I ask is Jannah, take me home

If I pray for ease, just like the Prophet Musa did
O Allah, I am so in need of your help right now
Feel like I've nothing left, just like him when he lay there
But your mercy and love made everything alright
O Allah, bring ease to this body of mine

O Allah, I have lost everything that I have loved
I come to you an empty cup, with your mercy fill it up
You promise you test those you love, but you're with me and that's enough
So raise me high, raise me up

If I pray for ease, just like the Prophet Yunus did
O Allah, I have transgressed against my soul
In the belly of the whale, under the crashing of the waves
In the darkness of the night, you heard him pray
O Allah, bring ease to my darkest days

If I pray for ease, just like the Prophet Yusuf did
I'm alone but I know Allah is enough for me
From the bottom of the well, thrown into a prison cell
He knew with every hardship there comes ease
O Allah, grant me your eternal peace

Like Adam in his need, like Nuh upon the seas
Like Yaqub in his grief, like Ayyub on his knees
Ibrahim through the flames, Zakariya when he prayed
O Allah, they called you by your blessed names

If I pray for ease, just like Nabi Muhammad did
Do not despair, he said, Allah is always near
He was driven from his home, lost everything but hope
He knew the light of truth always prevails
O Allah, grant the best in our last days
