A short vocal performance of the famous poetic verses attributed to Imam Al-Shafi'i. In the poem, he complains to his teacher Waki' ibn al-Jarrah about his poor memory, and his teacher advises him to abandon sins because knowledge is a light from Allah that is not guided to a sinner.
