Lyrics
Yeah, it's by a believer. This one's a little bit different to what we usually do. It's a bit of a deep one, but this is for all you that think you can't come back to the deen. I've been there, man. Listen to my poetry. Let's go. Can you hear me? I'm scared of losing myself and I can't think clearly. I'm scared of losing my deen that I hold so dearly. So I'm searching for the answers that can cure me. I'm searching for the answers that can spare me. Cause the shaitan's got his lock on me so tight, man, I can't even sleep at night. I wonder why I come into Islam, but now I'm scared I'm losing the fight. It's second to reflect on your journey. And when your time comes, can you ask yourself, did I do enough to prepare me? And did I let him cure me? Did I do enough for Allah to spare me? From the hellfire flames when you've got to be a sane. If you can't see the jannah is the aim of the game. Yeah, your sins will remain in the grave. You're a soldier of Allah, not a slave to this game. The deen and the dunya can't be compared. Yeah, you see a similarity in the rizqos. We scare we've got kids choosing dunya over deen. So we've got to intervene, feed them knowledge on our deen. Misguidance everywhere I see corrupt religious leaders that lack empathy for the kids in Palestine. Where's your sympathy? Where's your dignity? I'm losing faith in humanity. Allah, can you hear me? I'm scared of losing myself and I can't think clearly. I'm scared of losing my deen that I hold so dearly. So I'm searching for the answers that can cure me. I'm searching for the answers that can spare me. Cause the shaitan's got his lock on me so tight, man, I can't even sleep at night. I wonder why I come into Islam, but now I'm scared I'm losing the fight. I'm losing the faith in humanity. All these issues that we face weigh heavy on my soul. Can't you see every lyric that I spray has a meaning? I come from that life, trust the dunya ain't appealing. Didn't want to be in pain no more, so I took the call and dinning 24434. What's this for? It's when your head's to the floor and prostrates to your lord. On your cellar ain't a draw, no you deen, you can't ignore. And when your head's full of war and your soul can't take no more, then prayer's the only cure. But you have to rest assured, cause I've lived that life before. Paint a picture, let me draw. Full of scars from this fake society, stuck in this dunya, lose the sight of reality. Watching my life drift away, this can't be happening. Depression hitting harder and harder, heart was blackening. Verily in the remembrance of Allah, the hearts find peace. This is the last thing I'm going to preach. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala saved my life with the fold of Islam. And in my nasheeds is a message to try and waken your inner iman. So with the will of Allah, may this message run deep. Fuck the dunya for deen and start your journey to the as-sadiyat al-mustaqim.
