Lyrics
Mind the gap between the train and the platform. I'm sitting on the train, picking out my little brain, thinking how I left all the good in the wrong lane. Now on me I've got a stain, such an unbearable pain, one wrong decision I made. Now I feel my life is about to fade, and fade away, fade away, but my heart still wants to stay. On my knees I beg and pray, I'm looking for a second chance, chance to change my stance, so in life I can advance without having to look back. But what's the point of me trying to backtrack? I need to be on track. Mistakes are made, and I know I'm not perfect. I'm literally torn, wishing I was reborn. A rebirth, a restart, change of heart, a change of cards, wishing my badness departs. Why did I stoop so low? Now I'm facing such a heavy blow. My life dark, my heart black like a crow. No Cupid but I feel like I've been struck with a bow. Is there any way of coming back from all this? Is my life like a hit and miss? Will my fate change, or will it become something distantly strange? Is hope even in range? This bubble looks like it's about to pop, and I feel I won't come out on top. As much as I try and hop, to avoid these unmissable traps, I feel like I'm doing laps, with so many gaps. When will I steer in the right way? Will I live to see another day? When will I make that move? My wife I need to prove. Will I win or will I lose? I feel so confused. I want to change, I can't refuse. My badness has already been overused. I'm tired, why is everything always backfired? My chance to feel expired. I'm so drained, there's shackles on me, I feel chained. My life took a turn and it feels unexplained. My luck and blessing feel so restrained. There is nothing I've gained, just a life full of pain. Good and bad like Bruce Wayne. I'm going insane, a life ever so mundane. My sins etched inside my brain, doing what I can to let myself sustain. I want to walk out in the rain, get washed away and never be found again. I wish I never have to walk again, on this long sinful lane. Playing with the devil, or listening to the devil, isn't it the same thing? Either way you'll feel the sting. I need to carry on raising my hands. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Because happiness he will bring, this worldly life is always full of sin. And through Allah is the only way one can win. These demons will make you think different, making you ignorant, about how you're not significant. I've seen it first hand, my Lord's mercy is so grand. It's all at his disposal, it's all in his command. Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim, open the gates of mercy. Yes my fate is planned, but in Salah I will stand, facing towards the Holy Land. And with his open hands, these trials I will try to withstand. And with as much patience, we are not the only nation, we are not the only creation. Khalwa with Allah, let my heart go on vacation. Every nation has been tested, it's about time I contested. I'd like to open my heart, and beg to you Ya Allah. I'm going to cry endlessly, hoping you heal my scars. I want to burst these prison bars, every hardship that came in my life, you've made me overcome it. I have to admit, I'm once again ready to submit. The Dua is the weapon of the believer. I'm ready to connect with the receiver. And no more letting the devil be the deceiver. Tawakkal Allah, I know you'll be my reliever. There are none worthy of worship besides you. Glorified are you. Surely I am from the wrongdoers. The next station is Westminster Change.
