قل للوداع إذا لقيت وداعا هل بدت يوما مثلنا ملتاعا هل ذاق مر سهامه ليذيقها أم بدناها الجربل لوجاعا لما يا وداع غدرتني في صحبة كنا حصونا للإخا و قلاعا أبصرت درعا وصلنا فهتفته وسللت سيفا للنوا خداعا كنا حصونا للإخا و قلاعا قل للوداع إذا لقيت وداعا هل بدت يوما مثلنا ملتاعا هل ذاق مر سهامه ليذيقها أم بدناها الجربل لوجاعا كنا بذكر الله نوبض ليلنا ونطيب الأحشاء والأسماعا وإذا بدى خطب نغالب مده وإذا دعا خير نهب سراعا كنا حصونا للإخا و قلاعا قل للوداع إذا لقيت وداعا هل بدت يوما مثلنا ملتاعا هل ذاق مر سهامه ليذيقها أم بدناها الجربل لوجاعا رحل الأحبة لم أجد من بعدهم إلا الحنين يمزق الأضلاعا ويؤجج التذكار بي وكلاهما سمع النوا في أمره وأضاعا كنا حصونا للإخا و قلاعا قل للوداع
